For parents and educators

Help curiosity stay in the lead

You do not need to turn every visit into a lesson. A pause, a prediction, and one good follow-up question are enough.

01

Wait before explaining

Give the child time to point, choose, move, or guess. The prediction matters because it gives them something of their own to compare with the result.

  • “What do you think will happen?”
  • “What would you change?”
  • “What did you notice first?”
02

Treat surprises as evidence

A prediction does not need to be correct. When the result is different, ask what changed and what they would try next.

A quiet, private visit
